uoga uoga That Real Rose Mineral Blush Powder with Amber

When it comes to brands on the horizon, this one is my favorite. uoga uoga is a natural cosmetic brand from Lithuania that focuses on using natural amber and minerals from the Baltic countries. The name means “berry berry” and is tied into the brand’s focus on natural products inspired by the deep forests of the country. Pretty loveable, am I right?

I have reviewed uoga uoga’s lip gloss and foundations before, and was really impressed. The mineral content blends really nicely into your skin, and feels light when you’re wearing it.

This time, I tried “That Real Rose”.One of my favorite aspects of this blush is how easy it is to blend. It sits lightly on the skin and can easily be swirled in with a blush. The color can be applied as heavily as you like and is easy to transition from day to night.

In my picture the color looks much less pink than it does in the manufacturer’s pictures, but I think the color also depends on the minerals used for the batch. Since uoga uoga uses natural materials, there is bound to be some degree of color variation in the natural materials.

On my skin the color it is a gorgeous light dusky rose, and has cool undertones. It adds a natural looking flush and has a tiny bit of shine to it, which makes sense since it is a mineral-based blush.

Here is a list of the ingredients:

Ingredients (INCI): Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide, Magnesium Stearate, Kaolin (white clay), Allantoin, Amber Powder, Oryza Sativa (rice) Powder, Silica, +/- Iron Oxides: CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499

As you can see, with this blush, less is more 🙂
